Tarteel is a Sudanese-American organizer, poet, activist, and social media content creator. She is passionate about racial justice and humanitarian activism, her work centers around the empowerment of the Muslim, Sudanese and immigrant communities.  Tarteel serves on the board of directors on the Sudanese Diaspora Network, a youth led organization that aims to unify, mobilize and empower Sudanese youth towards a more sustainable Sudan.
