Elsa is a mother and activist who has been working toward immigrant rights within her community. Her late daughter Erika motivated her to become involved in the fight for education and human rights for immigrants when SB1070 was being introduced. Elsa has continued the work that she and her daughter were doing together by attending rallies, protests and workshops that have provided her the tools to continue to strengthen her fight for immigrant rights.
