Event Sponsorship with PLAN
PLAN seeks event sponsors for our immigrant storytelling show, In Our Own Words. The gallery will be hosted at the Newton at Changing Hands in Uptown Phoenix October 23rd and will feature a variety of immigrant narratives.
At PLAN, we harness the power of stories to cultivate empathy, foster connections, and challenge anti-immigrant narratives. At a time where we see heightened anti-immigrant rhetoric locally with ballot proposition 314 and nationally with anti-immigrant policies and messaging, an event like this is more important than ever to look past prejudice and see people instead. Because a better understanding of people’s personal experiences leads to policies that center humanity over hate.
