PLAN seeks event sponsors for our immigrant storytelling show, In Our Own Words. The gallery will be hosted at the Newton at Changing Hands in Uptown Phoenix October 23^rd and will feature a variety of immigrant narratives.

At PLAN, we harness the power of stories to cultivate empathy, foster connections, and challenge anti-immigrant narratives.  Ata time where we see heightened anti-immigrant rhetoric locally with ballot proposition 314 and nationally with anti-immigrant policies and messaging, an event like this is more important than ever to look past prejudice and see people instead. Because a better understanding of people’s personal experiences leads to policies that center humanity over hate.
